Agritourism at "Kriti Allios"
Tour Duration: 45 minutes – 1 hour
The tour begins with welcoming visitors at the entrance of our family business premises. We start walking together along our beloved corridor adorned with black-and-white family photos and captioned family albums. Following a quick glimpse into our modern grocery store full of Cretan treasures, we then step outside onto the terrace, where the lush greenery and imposing mountains will keep you truly mesmerized.
Then, it’s action time!
We watch up close the packing and standardizing of our exquisite Cretan fruit and vegetables inside the packing factory.
Crossing the outdoor area, we reach the fragrant vineyard and proceed to the olive oil storage and bottling unit. We never miss a stop at our traditional “metochi”, the 80-year-old stone house that remains the heart of our estate to this day.
The final stop of the tour is the tall-standing olive grove, before heading back to the tasting venue and indulging into the olive oil tasting experience and homemade Cretan food.
By this point, you will have heard the history of this family and place, gazed upon the magical landscapes, and learned about the Cretan farming culture and practice.
